If you know me, you know that every year I work super hard at trying to raise money for the Sacramento Komen Race for the Cure. I raise a team (24 members this year!), I set goals ($4,000 for the team, $2,000 for me), and I organize an art show to raise even MORE money to help fight breast cancer.
If you know me, you also know why I work so hard and why this is so important to me. A year ago I flew to Phoenix and said goodbye to one of my closest friends. Dead of breast cancer at the age of 38. I’m not ready to let go of her yet, and I’m not ready to let her name disappear. Jennifer Hoffmann. I do this for her.
